“Ludwig’s Castle” is a fine art lithograph print with a low lustre finish and is a reproduction of my original art.
Painting Inspiration: Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Gothic Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as homage to Richard Wagner.
The palace was intended as a personal refuge for the reclusive king, but it was opened to the paying public immediately after his death in 1886.The palace has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Print image area is 10 ¾” x 17”. Top and sides bleed out to the edge and bottom has ¼” white border with Title printed in this area making the total size of the print at 12 x 17.
The lithograph print is signed by me (former name Elaine Cleek) and numbered with the edition size being 200. Over 75 of these have already been sold.
Includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
