Would you like to learn to create beautiful flesh tones in your portraiture? What pigments are best and how do you apply them? There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to rendering human flesh. Human flesh runs the color gamut from dark to light and pale to brilliant. Having a tube of paint labeled "flesh tone" will not suffice. Exactly what colors you use for painting skin tones is a matter of personal preference and style. However, an understanding of the basic principles will make your job a lot easier
