who we are
Our name may imply that we are a dark and edgy, suspense-driven company, but, really, we're just a married couple with a lot of drama...
Jeremy's journey started at childhood. It is where he began to experience all this madness we call filmmaking. Meanwhile... in Canada, a girl named Amber was discovering art in all its forms: through music, painting, photographing, graphic designing, and later filmmaking. We met at Vancouver Film School in 2001 and later married. Our honeymoon consisted of shooting a feature length film, so yeah, we're both very committed.
Welcome to the new website for the Londonderry Arts Council! We are a chartered town committee, with the following vision and mission:
Vision: Believing that our cultural arts are essential for nurturing lifelong learning, building strong relationships and promoting civic responsibility, we envision a community in which we participate in and support our cultural arts as a valued part of our everyday lives.
Mission: To enrich Londonderry’s quality of life through promoting cultural arts in our community.
Some of the events we are involved in are the summer Concerts On The Common series, Art In Action and the Art On The Common. We have also worked to renovate the town’s bandstand.
From visual artists to musicians, community theatre, dance studios, writers, film makers and thriving civic organizations, the Londonderry region has an abundance of culture resources to explore. Our goal is to help connect the community with the cultural treasures that exist in our own neighborhoods.
Questions? Want to get involved? Email us at info@LondonderryCulture.org. We would love to hear from you!
